Mrs. Suzanne M. Curra
Principal
Mrs. Suzanne Curra received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Modern Languages from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport and has worked in Catholic schools throughout her teaching and administrative career. Mrs. Curra taught grade 2 at St. Ann’s School in Yonkers, NY until the birth of her children. She later returned to teaching at St. Joseph’s School in Croton Falls, NY where she taught grades 3 and 5. Her career then took her to St. Rose of Lima School in Newtown, CT where throughout her time there, she served as the resource teacher in grades 5-8, an English Language Arts teacher in grades 6 & 7, one of the grade 3 teachers, and ultimately the Assistant Principal and Pre-School Director.
During her tenure as Assistant Principal, Mrs. Curra returned to school for Educational Leadership and earned her Intermediate Administrative Certificate (092) through Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She received a Catholic School Leadership Certificate from Creighton University in May, 2017.
Mrs. Curra is an alumni parent of St. Gregory the Great School and feels blessed to have returned as the Principal. Ensuring we are living our mission as a school is a top priority for Mrs. Curra. When not at work, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
