Blue Ribbon Nominee for 2009-2010

For the second year in a row, St. Gregory the Great School has been selected as a nominee for the U.S. Department of Education's prestigious national Blue Ribbon Award, which honors America's most successful schools. Academically, St. Gregory the Great School ranks in the top 10% of all schools in the United States in Mathematics and Reading, based on 2009, 2008 and previous Iowa Test Scores.

These scores have been achieved by our students because of the leadership of our Principal, the dedication of our teachers and the constant support of our parents. Our goal at St. Gregory's is to empower our students to be responsible leaders who strive for academic excellence and express their Catholic values in the 21st century global world.
