Blue Ribbon Winner for 2010-2011

After two consecutive years as a nominee, St. Gregory the Great School has been awarded the U.S. Department of Education's prestigious national Blue Ribbon Award for 2010/2011.  St Gregory was the only Danbury school, public or private, which received the award and one of only 50 private schools in the country.  Academically, St. Gregory the Great School ranks in the top 10% of all schools in the United States in Mathematics and Reading, based on 2010, 2009, 2008 and previous Iowa Test Scores.

These scores have been achieved by our students because of the leadership of our Principal, the dedication of our teachers and the constant support of our parents. Our goal at St. Gregory's is to empower our students to be responsible leaders who strive for academic excellence and express their Catholic values in the 21st century global world.
