‘SHOW & TELL’ FOR FOURS
This week we will be starting ‘Show & Tell’ in our 4-year-old classes. This is a fun activity that the children usually enjoy. It gives them an opportunity to get up in front of the class and talk about what they brought in to share. (This activity also improves language development.)
Two children will have a turn every day instead of each child bringing in something once a week. This avoids all the children having to wait their turn and sitting quietly for a long period of time. Every child will get a turn.
We have a special ‘Show & Share’ bag to send home with the two children the day before their turn. It is their responsibility to bring it to the next class with their Show & Tell in it. We encourage the children to bring in a favorite book or souvenir, a toy (non-violent only), or something they have made at home. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Joyce S. Feeney
Pre-School Teacher
